About Me:
See, this is the part I don't like. What to say about myself. Well, I'm easy going. I work 2 jobs to make ends kinda meet. I enjoy hanging out with my friends in what little spare time I have. I like football, NASCAR, hockey, and I've been known to watch the occasional baseball game. I'm a tomboy at heart, but don't mistake that for non-lady like. I graduated from Penn State (yes a Big 10 rival to IU), and I'm just as passionate about PSU sports. How the guys are with IUBB, that's how I am about PSU football. I have 110,000 friends on any given Saturday afternoon or evening at Beaver Stadium. :) I like going to concerts and seeing live music in general. Anything more, just ask!

Straight No Chaser (obviously), Nathan Angelo, Chris Cauley, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Ben Folds 5, Metallica, Rascall Flats, Sugarland, Lady A, Live, Fuel, All American Rejects, Puddle of Mudd, Bowling for Soup, Cake (Sheep Go to Heaven is just about the funniest song ever), The Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, George Straight, Dirks Bentley, Josh Groban, Martina McBride, Reba, Taylor Swift, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W Smith, I'll admit I like Lady Gaga, but Edge of Glory gets on my nerves, Josh Turner, I like most Baroque and Classical music too (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Widor [I don't think he's classical, but awesome anyways], Wagner...), you put my ipod on shuffle an any number of these will come up, well, except for the more modern people. The 80's and 90's bands will. :)

Currently Living In:

Hometown:

Relationship Status:
Very unattached
Trademark:
Random knowledge of random things. You usually want me on your Trivial Pursuit team, or nearly any bar trivia game. My friends and family all think I should go on Jeopardy!. I went to high school with and used to know the Ultimate Jeopardy! Champion (beep). I also know lots about geography, and I'm a weather geek at heart.
Favorite SNC College Memory:
I really wish I had known these guys in college, but that would mean I would have had to go to IU. That perplexes me.
Musical Influences:
See favorite music groups. Other than those, my grandmother who taught me how to read music around the age of 2 to 2.5. I used to play the upright organ (as opposed to pipe), and I tried my hand at the clarinet in 4th grade, which lasted about half a school year. I then joined chorus in 5th grade and sang until I graduated from high school. I started out as an Alto 1 and in high school was promoted to Soprano 1. I have learned that if you don't use it, you lose it, and singing now for me is in the car only. Maybe someday I'll sing with a group again. :)
Favorite Songs to Perform Live:
From my chorus days, The 50 States That Rhyme is my all time favorite. I can list all the states in alphabetical order because of this song. I do have it on tape somewhere. When we did things from Phantom of the Opera in middle school, and again in high school spring concerts. Bridge Over Troubled Water is a favorite too, and I can't believe I'm going to list this, but The Hallelujah Chorus was fun to sing too. Pulling that high A out of nowhere isn't fun acapella, though.
Favorite Place You've Traveled:
Any place I've gone purposefully I've enjoyed. Niagra Falls is awesome. I've been to San Juan, St. Maarten (the Dutch Side, not the French side), and St. Thomas. I've been to Vegas twice and still haven't done everything there is to do there. I tend to gravitate toward warm, beachy areas for vacation. I love the Rehoboth Beach/Dewey Beach area in DE. But I do also like the peacefulness of western PA as well, in the "mountains". :)
Favorite Things in General:
"Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things..." okay, sorry, you said favorite things, and that's what I think of. I'm an animal lover too. I prefer cats, but I'm not unopposed to dogs, I just don't like smaller yippy dogs. I think I've covered all of my favorite things above.
What Magazines/Periodicals do you read consistently?:
The Penn Stater, The Department of Geography Magazine (PSU), the Blue and White Magazine (PSU Berk's version of The Penn Stater), and that is about it since that is what I get in the mail these days.
